Community Guidelines

Ristara is built on respect, authenticity, and meaningful connections. These guidelines help create a safe space for everyone seeking cosmic love. They are part of our Terms of Service and apply to everything you do on Ristara.

You must be 18 or older

Ristara is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We do not allow anyone under 18 to join, and we remove any account we discover belongs to a minor. If you believe a member is under 18, report them immediately at [email protected].

Be authentic

  1. Use recent photos that clearly show your face
  2. Be honest about your intentions and what you're looking for
  3. Provide accurate birth details for meaningful introductions
  4. Don't impersonate others or use fake identities
  5. One account per person, in your own name

Be respectful

  1. Treat all members with kindness and dignity
  2. Accept rejection gracefully
  3. No harassment, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind
  4. Respect others' privacy and boundaries

Keep it safe

  1. Don't share personal contact info too quickly
  2. Report suspicious behavior immediately
  3. Never send money to anyone you meet on Ristara, and never ask a member for money, gifts, or financial information
  4. Meet in public places when connecting offline

No prohibited content or behavior

The following are never allowed on Ristara, in profiles, photos, or messages:

  1. Nudity or sexually explicit content of any kind
  2. Any content involving minors, and any sexualization of anyone under 18. We report child exploitation material to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and to law enforcement
  3. Sexual violence, or any content depicting or promoting non-consensual sexual activity
  4. Intimate images of any person shared without their consent, including AI-generated or altered images
  5. Promotion of prostitution, escort services, or human trafficking of any kind
  6. Scams or fraud, including romance scams, investment pitches, and any attempt to deceive members out of money
  7. Violence, threats, or graphic imagery
  8. Spam or commercial solicitation
  9. Illegal activities or content of any kind

Reporting

Every profile and conversation includes tools to block and report. You can also reach us anytime at [email protected]. Reports involving minors, exploitation, or safety threats are prioritized and may be referred to law enforcement. Good faith reports are never penalized. Knowingly false or malicious reports violate these guidelines.

Consequences

Violations of these guidelines may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent removal depending on severity, whether the conduct occurs on or off Ristara. Members removed for serious violations may not return. We reserve the right to remove any content or account that violates these standards, and we cooperate with law enforcement where the law requires or safety demands it.
